Popular Dark Souls 3 video maker Iron Pineapple recently uploaded a video showing off the mod in action. Enemies in Dark Souls 3 are known for ambushing players, so playing in first-person without the added benefit of being able to see behind you certainly sounds like a recipe for pain and suffering - which is probably what most Dark Souls players are seeking. The mod truly does add a whole new perspective to the game, and we can only imagine that it makes the already notoriously-difficult title even harder. While it's a little weird seeing disembodied hands hacking and slashing at foes, eventually, it doesn't stand out so much. Created by Zulliethewitch/ShadowedImage, this mod takes what is normally a third-person action RPG and throws it into the realm of first-person, almost as if it's some long-lost version of the Elder Scrolls franchise. Such is the case with this first-person mod for the PC version of Dark Souls 3. From coming up with new and unique ways to murder other players or defeating the entire game without getting hit, From Software's popular and punishing RPG franchise, and its fanbase, continue to surprise us.
